Cardiff Closure
It is with great sadness that we announce the immediate closure of our Care in the High Street premises in Cardiff’s St. David’s Shopping Centre. Due to a number of factors outside of our control from 12th June the unit has ceased to operate.
We would like to thank everyone who has used the service during the time it was open, together with the very generous individuals and businesses who supported the project in whatever capacity.
Any families who had been using the centre in Cardiff are more than welcome to join Stacey Moxham and the team at our Bristol centre; please do contact Stacey if you would like to pay a visit. We do hope that one day Hop Skip and Jump may be able to return to Wales.
In the meantime all the centre equipment, which had been specifically designed to be 100% reusable in the event of a possible unit relocation, will be installed at our other centres including the new Horsham Care in the High Street project at Swan Walk. The toys, soft play equipment and furniture will therefore continue to benefit the many young people across the country with disabilities and special educational needs for whom we care.
We thank you for your consideration at this time and would, once again, express our regret that we are unable to continue in Cardiff.

Care in the High Street - Cardiff St. David’s Centre
We are thrilled to be opening our first care centre in Wales! With the support of Land Securities, we have opened a brand new respite care centre for the disabled in the heart of Cardiff city centre. The St. David’s Centre is a prestigious retail location and marks a huge success for Hop Skip and Jump’s Care in the High Street campaign.
Care in the High Street Cardiff is located next to Costa Coffee on Working Street, opposite Build a Bear Workshop and Hawkins Bazaar, close to the likes of Primark and Boots. It really is a great location, close to all of the shops you love! Store Map
The new centre is the second of its kind in the UK following from our Swindon launch in October. We can’t wait to get started in Wales and help families who desperately need some respite!
Please note: at present we are able to take children from age 8+. You are more than welcome to stay and play with your child for those with younger children. Thank you for your consideration.
