Pram Shelter
Project Cost £2875.23 incl. VAT
Funding Received £500
Hop Skip & Jump is currently seeking funding for a new 4mx3m pram shelter.
The new shelter will provide a covered area for parents to store their prams outside the centre, protected from the elements and securely stored close to the main building.
The shelter will be an important addition to the Centre. Currently parents have to bring their prams into the main building, which takes up a lot of room. This can also have implications and from a health and safety point of view as they can cause obstructions / congestion and potentially block emergency exits.
We have been instructed by OFSTED to provide this facility.
We need support from the local community and businesses to fund this project
Can You Help!
We are also fundraising for a musical trail in the garden. We need a further £480 to complete this project.
Thank you to the President and Members of the WO & SR Mess of HMS Scott who raised a fantastic £2302.31 on their charity bike ride for Hop Skip and Jump.
They rode Raleigh Chopper bikes across the Faukland Islands. We have lots of photos up at the centre.
Six by Eight
An exhibition with a difference....
Are you an artist..... do you have artist friends .... links to famous artists .....
We are a small committee who with the help of numerous generous artists are organising an exhibition with a twist in the latter part of 2011, we are asking artists to donate to us a 'work of any medium' on a card measuring 6 x 8 " and importantly signed on the reverse so all work is anonymous - we will then sell the works at an evening event all work selling for the same price - an artistic gamble and all funds will go to HSJ.
If you can help us in any way or know someone who can please contact Aimee on 07980577087 or at [email protected]
2011 London Marathon
Hop, Skip & Jump SW has been well supported in the past by people running in the Bristol and Bath half marathons to raise money, and we are now looking for runners for the main event in the UK calendar.
We have got a limited number of Silver Bond entry places available for the 2011 London Marathon, and we’re looking for dedicated fundraisers who will take this opportunity to raise lots of cash for Hop, Skip & Jump SW

AXA Challenge - they have done
alot of work in
the garden for us making it look pretty and adding a sensory area.
Donating
their time and experience. Jane Elliott of Elliott Garden designs
- designed
the sensory garden and raised the funds for the plants, wendy house
and
benches.
The pony rides were organised for
the children by our founder trustees
Clarissa Mitchell and Rev Celia Carter. Some of our children would
not be
able to ride a pony without their help.
These two photos are of our fashion
show to raise funds for HSJ. Catwalk
collections were the company that supplied the clothes and did the
comentary. The models were our own children and volunteers. |
