ABOUT HOP SKIP & JUMP
HOP SKIP & JUMP is a new play and support centre located on an attractive greenfield site at Grimsbury Road, Kingswood, South Bristol. The Centre, designed as a giant log cabin, provides day care and supervised play for children and young people with any special need. Our aim is to provide a safe haven for children, where they can happily play and have fun, giving parents some much needed respite and support.
The log cabin format
has a huge internal play area, an art and craft room, soft play area, a
quiet room, reading room and two specially designed light and dark sensory
rooms. Other facilities include a kitchen and complementary therapy clinic.

The Centre has an enclosed area of 2 acres and as funds permit, there will be slides, climbing frames, sand pit, suspension bridges and a play house. As the Centre develops, other activities such as bicycles, tricycles and go-carts will be added as well as a cycle track and five a side football pitch.
