Saturday 31st October marked the official unveiling of our newly refurbished Cheltenham centre. The team have been hard at work over the summer months creating two wonderful new buildings and a selection of wheelchair walkways to help make HS&J more accessible than ever before!
We were delighted to welcome Hans and Julia Rausing from The Hans and Julia RausingTrust to cut the ribbon, in celebration of the wonderful support they have given the project from the outset. We also had a very special guest from Giffords Circus - the one and only Tweedy popped in to keep everyone entertained throughout the day and present a cheque from Giffords for over £5,000!
We’re hugely grateful to our maintenance manager Paul Welsby who has led the building project from the start, as well as the team from Raining Colour who have done an amazing job in making sure that the new buildings are absolutely tiptop. Our biggest thank you must go to The Hans and Julia Rausing Trust for their amazingly generous support of Hop Skip and Jump and continued belief in the value of our work - THANK YOU!
